Terms & Conditions

- Voluntary & Unpaid Role Volunteering is completely voluntary and unpaid, unless a separate written agreement is signed with the organization.
- No Threats or Intimidation A volunteer must never threaten, intimidate, blackmail or harass any person - staff, beneficiaries, donors, officials or the public - in the name of the NGO or organization. Any such act leads to immediate removal and may be reported to the authorities.
- No Forced or Coerced Work A volunteer shall not force, pressurise or "strictly" compel any person to work, donate, join or participate against their will. All support must be fully voluntary.
- No Misuse of the Organization's Name The organization's name, logo, letterhead or identity must never be used for personal benefit, financial gain or any unauthorized activity without prior written permission.
- No Unauthorized Fund Collection Volunteers cannot collect money or donations in the organization's name without written authorization and official receipts.
- Honesty & Legal Compliance Volunteers must act honestly and must not engage in any illegal, fraudulent or unethical activity. All activities must comply with the laws of India.
- Confidentiality Any personal, beneficiary or donor information accessed while volunteering must be kept strictly confidential and never misused.
- No Authority to Bind the Organization A volunteer has no authority to make any financial, legal or contractual commitment on behalf of the organization unless authorized in writing.
- Personal Responsibility The organization is not responsible for any act done by a volunteer beyond their authorized scope; such acts are the volunteer's personal responsibility.
- Termination of Association The organization may reject or terminate any volunteer's association at any time, without notice, if these terms are violated.
